Community Lunches

One of the ways we support our local community

Green Door Families are proud to run community lunches every week, on a Thursday and Friday at The Hub in Street, Somerset. This started during the first Covid-19 lock-down in March 2020 currently providing approximately 250 meals per week.

As well as providing a hot meal, visitors are also welcomed to use the shower/washing facilities. At present around 50 visitors per week are benefiting from this service. We receive referrals for this service from churches, social services, schools and food banks.
